For the Night Light project, commissioned by the Victoria Park BIA, we activated the central memorial library in downtown with a stunning projection mapped display. This innovative project brought the library to life by synchronizing visual projections with ambient sounds, creating a dynamic and immersive experience. This event aimed to bring the community together, enhance safety in the surrounding park, and inspire spectators to explore the wonders within the library's pages.
The projection mapping event at Calgary's Central Memorial Library not only enhanced the safety and vibrancy of the park but also ignited a passion for storytelling and reading among attendees. Studio Luma successfully demonstrated the power of experiential design in fostering community connections and cultural appreciation. This case study underscores the potential of projection mapping as a tool for community engagement and urban revitalization.
